‘Making a Difference’ Fingal Community College

‘Making a Difference’ Fingal Community College The students at Fingal Community College really embraced the idea of Making a Difference in their community and the winning group this year ran a hugely successful “Silver Surfers “ tech course in their school. The programme, which ran in conjunction with Age Action Ireland, involved 20 TY students and over the course of 15 weeks they welcomed older citizens to the school each Friday afternoon and taught them to use PC’s, iPads, smartphones and all things IT. By all accounts the course was very popular, successful and beneficial to all involved. This programme really embodies what Making a Difference is all about and Prosper are so proud to support such a fantastic initiative. Well done to all involved!...
