Inclusion Book 2020

The Inclusion Book 2020 was created by Prosper Fingal Rush Day Service as a commemoration of our ‘Community and Inclusion’ module with St. Joseph’s Secondary School Transition Year Students. The collaboration is in its eighth year and involves the TY students buddying up with a service user at the day service.

During lockdown the students and service users kept their connection alive by sending letters, emails, and video messages. This book highlights the importance of community and inclusion and how a group of young teenagers together with a group of adults with intellectual disabilities can connect and form long lasting relationships and experiences which affect real change now and into the future.
